scroll

Jayna Elise Born September 26, 2001 and has been performing since the age of 4. Jayna Elise formerly known as Jayna Brown is an up and coming artist you don’t want to miss. You may have seen her on stage with the likes of Tyler Perry, Queen Latifah, Lalah Hathaway, and many more. With one of her biggest appearances being on the hit TV show, “America’s Got Talent”. After graduating from performing arts high school “Duke Ellington School of the Arts”, at the ripe age of 19,  Jayna has continued to hone her craft producing, writing, composing, and arranging for herself and others in the industry.

After weeks of tough competition the Final 8 was reduced to 4, then 2, and then 1. During the season finale of Dave Tolliver's "Come Get This Deal" competition, the final 8 competitors competed in 3 rounds giving their best Motown vocals. In round one we had battles between Phylicia Hooper and Elyscia, Marlon Gilbert and Morgan Lett, Antonio McClendon and Jayna Elise, rounding it out with Chari and Serrin Joy. In round 2 Phylicia Hooper and Marlon Gilbert faced off with Marlon emerging as the victor and Jayna Elise following shortly behind as she defeated Serrin Joy. Then, it was time for the final battle! Marlon started off the battle with his rendition of So High by John Legend followed by Jayna's original take on Alicia Keys, If I Ain't Got You. After a short reprieve, Jayna decided to end her battle with a Motown classic, Marvin Gaye's, You're All I Need, while Marlon ended the night with Never Too Much by Luther Vandross. After comments on the battle were given and praises were sang to the final 2 contestants for their dedication, singing abilities, and their navigation throughout the competition, it was time to vote. Although the judges loved the tone of Marlon and the silkiness of his voice, Jayna and her crazy runs, diction, and tonality won the judges over and sealed the deal in her becoming season 2's winner.

Since Jayna's win, she has began to work on a song with R&B Legend, Wanya Morris from the legendary group, Boys II Men.
